Positioning Motel One as a successful low budget designer hotel brand has been a challenge over the last years. High occupancy, a large number of satisfied guests and also numerous awards attest to our chosen approach.
We have been able to implement our strategy of a high quality product and design standards, combined with excellent locations and a very attractive price. At the same time happy staff and happy guests lie at the heart of the Motel One company philosophy.
With over 50 hotels and more than 11,800 rooms we have now become one of the leading players in the budget sector. Our next move is in other European countries. In Austria we have already opened the first four hotels in Salzburg and Vienna and rolled out in the UK in Edinburgh and London. By 2017 we plan to expand our network to 74 hotels with approximately 18,000 rooms, of which 5,700 are already outside Germany. These are ambitious goals that we will achieve with the support of our partners and the high motivation of our employees.

Kingsize mattresses and high-quality bed linen for a luxurious night’s sleep.
We want you to wake up feeling refreshed after a good night’s sleep. Which is why all our beds feature high quality mattresses and 100 per cent Egyptian cotton bed linen. By the way, our new hotels even have super comfy box spring beds.
A less is more approach to decoration.
The emphasis is on modern design that creates ambiance and a good atmosphere. Our exclusive Artemide lights, for example, provide a pleasant light by your bed. And a modern LOEWE flat screen TV offers entertainment in each of our rooms.

Send your emails quickly and overcome challenges while you are travelling too. Working in Motel One is as flexible as your job needs you to be thanks to free WLAN access throughout the whole hotel and a movable desk in your room.
A bathroom that’s more like a spa – and all to yourself
Dark granite, reflective glass and a wash stand with Dornbracht fittings. Not only is there a bath, but a small, but superb spa with a Hansgrohe raindance shower, refreshing organic lemon shower gel and luxurious, fluffy towels.
